Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told his disciples they would be His witnesses. One of the most important values of MRBC is our mission to reveal Christ to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads across the state and ultimately to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as community basketball, to full-fledged mission trips.

Sunday School

Making and developing disciples is a major objective of MRBC’s Sunday School department.  Through active engagement in age appropriate settings, individuals learn from God’s Holy Word and are strengthened in the own walk of faith.  Furthermore, they have opportunity to sew into the lives of others as they develop relationships within the community of believers.  Find your place this Sunday!

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for at MRBC. We seek to develop our music and drama ministry as an active catalyst for glorifying God while reaching people. Some play instruments, while others are vocalists; but all are striving to honor God with their talents. Whether it is singing or drama, our desire is to create an environment where the Holy Spirit is welcomed and people really participate.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. A goal of MRBC is to have all of our weekly sermons uploaded to our website in audio format.  Eventually we hope to include video as God affords.  Currently we maintain an active Facebook feed to actively share additional church information.

Connect Groups

In a desire to actively develop disciples, MRBC is striving to develop on going Connect Groups that meet across our community.  This provides greater flexibility of time and location while also affording a more intimate setting for Bible study & prayer.  Be sure to watch for a place and opportunity to join a Connect Group in the near future.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. We share individual prayer request weekly and in our Sunday School and small groups.  Additionally, we are blessed to have a dedicated prayer room is at the back of the sanctuary and encourage people to come and pray as well as share specific request by leaving them in the prayer basket.
